Formed in early 2009, in the heart of the worst recession in a generation, Lighthouse Investments is the culmination of Ramin’s many years to bring those lessons and skills learned early and developed over time from having been COO of a national development company, construction lender to managing complex construction projects.
A licensed civil engineer and contractor, Ramin has worked in the ditches and behind the desk providing practical and innovative solutions to every real estate deal. previously active in ULI, has served as co-chair of ULI-LA’s inaugural TOD Committee and on ULI-LA’s Program Committee, he also has volunteered as Board member of Bel Air Beverly Crest Neighborhood Council and was previously a member of the National Brownfields Association.

With experience as an operator, Dan has opened over 30 venues and 14 hotels, and run dozens more, all at a Director level. Starting as a busser at 14 years old, he worked his way through all front of house positions in standalone restaurants in New York, opening and operating numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs in Manhattan and then in the burgeoning Brooklyn scene of the early 2000’s, including Five Leaves, Rye with Chef Cal Elliott, and ISA with Chef Ignacio Mattos and restaurateur Taavo Somer.
In 2013 he relocated to Los Angeles and moved into hotel operations, and was a critical piece of national scaling and food and beverage brand positioning for Ace Hotels and Palisociety Hotels and Residences, helping to open 10 hotels between the two brands, before moving into 5-Star international luxury with Fairmont Hotels and Resorts and Maybourne Hotels.
Under his guidance, his food and beverage programs have garnered significant international acclaim, including Forbes 5-Star, AAA 5-Diamond, Michelin Recommendation, and 2 Michelin Keys. He has been a three-time Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Award nominee, and a James Beard Award nominee.
His understanding of front of house operations, mixology, financial systems and marketing uniquely position him to guide a business to prosperity, and his systems continue to foster positive work and functioning businesses long after his departure.
From Seattle to Southern California; Jennifer (ok to call her Jen) brings 16 years of award-winning, hospitality, and mixed-use development marketing experience, with an emphasis on increasing online visibility and driving incremental revenue for hotels.
Having worked extensively in many areas of traditional and digital marketing with some of the worlds' leading names, Jen specializes in online marketing, performance-based marketing, direct marketing, traditional advertising, partnership development marketing, public relations, and social media.
She started her career at the James Hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona, and transitioned the brand to Morgan Hotel Group's first southwest property: Mondrian, and never looked back. Relocating to Los Angeles a few years later, she spent the last decade building, marketing, and expanding portfolios for lifestyle hospitality and development groups including Related companies, Thompson Hotels, Patina Restaurant Group, SBE, Viceroy Hotels & Resorts, Palisociety, Lore Group London, Loews Hotels, and more. She has opened and transitioned 21 brands to date and has consulted independently for Tableau Software and Kayyem Marketing on special acquisition projects. Jen received her B.A. from Washington State University.

Responsible for management of investment entity books, audit /reconciliation of books and overall management of operations and company functions, Julie brings her combination of education coupled with real world application.
Julie has devoted 20+ years to a successful career in the retail/fashion industry. She has managed several multi-location retail stores in the Los Angeles area. She was a buyer a robust on-line retailer, continually identifying new trends and researching products. She also managed a private membership club in West Hollywood honing her social skills and building relationships.
She earned her Bachelors degree in Business Economics with an Accounting Emphasis from University of California, Santa Barbara. She later earned her Masters degree in International Finance form Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles.
As an active community member, Julie devotes many hours to volunteering at local schools and bettering the lives of children.
